Legacy: A story of love, loss, and new beginnings.

My name is Marie Hautecoeur, Legacy's founder.

Today, I would like to tell you about Legacy's story with modesty and emotion.
Everything started in 2012, when Le Trung Kien and I decided to embark on a new adventure, YNOT: a home furniture and interior design company that made its name known throughout Hanoi with its creations, quality, and hardworking team.

Le Trung Kien sadly passed away in 2020, and YNOT could no longer continue. But I knew that YNOT had built its own legacy, piece by piece. So, the whole team, including the artisans, and I decided to go on a new adventure: LEGACY Handmade Furniture.

Often when you think about legacy, it's something that is left behind after a person has passed. This new company is YNOT's legacy, Kien's legacy, but more than that. To us, legacy is also about sharing what you have learned, not just what you have earned. After years working together, we have built a very strong connection with our artisans and developed the skills to build and hand-make the beautiful products that we have on display at our shop.

Our company's products are a testament to our image: contemporary furniture, made from the finest quality materials, and founded on the respect of local handiwork skills. We are inspired by the symbolic synthesis of the environment, with allusions to Vietnam, including elements from Asia, and the adaptation to local materials. Our shapes are pure, our materials are noble, even with something raw, enhanced by the work on shapes and structures. At the end, it remains a marked and consistent style despite the variety of our creations.

We look forward to meeting you at our showroom and introducing you to our team!
